Fields Irrigation meets the needs of our customers through a wide variety of irrigation and landscaping services. We offer annual contracts with flexible monthly payments that are customized to each customer’s specific needs. The contract covers everything from the first application of pre-emergent to irrigation winterization using top quality products designed for our region.
Virginia State Law requires all Backflow Assemblies, including lawn irrigation systems, to be tested at time of installation and yearly thereafter. It is up to the home or business owner to maintain this equipment and have yearly inspections performed by a licensed Backflow Device Prevention Worker to ensure that the water from your irrigation system isn’t flowing back into your family’s drinking water. This is an inexpensive but important safety measure. Fields Irrigation is licensed to test backflows, and we’ll send the results directly to your county’s office so you don’t have to.
Our Start-Ups offer everything you need to make sure your yard is off to a healthy start. We begin by attaching your backflow and turning your water turned back on. We check for any damage in your backflow system, as well as leaks in your irrigation heads. Before we leave, we will set your controller to the recommended use and align all of the sprinkler heads so they are sure to water everything needed.
Knowing what and when to apply chemicals to your lawn can make all the difference between a healthy lawn and one taken over by weeds. Our program includes all of the following: Pre-emergent, Post-emergent, Liquid herbicide, Fertilizer, and Lime. Other treatments are available if necessary such as fungicide, grub control, and Bermuda Control.
Our aeration, seeding and fertilizing services will help keep your lawn lush and free of weeds. We’ll aerate your yard to provide more water and oxygen to reach deep into the ground. Then we’ll overseed and fertilize to provide nutrients and promote deep root growth. We only use Blue Tag Certified grass seed, which is 100% weed-free.

We keep our blades sharpened for a clean cut every time, and we mow to the correct height dependent on weather and time of year so it will stay healthy. Mowing patterns change frequently to avoid ruts in your lawn and allow for a more upright growth.

Leaf removal in the fall season is essential for a healthy lawn. We offer a full-service option that includes blowing all of your leaves out of your flower beds, patios and yards, then hauling them away. If you prefer to rake them yourself, we also offer curbside removal where we use our heavy-duty vacuum to suck up your leaves once you have them piled together.
When snow hits, getting commercial parking lots and apartment complexes cleared for emergency vehicles and drivers to travel safely becomes the priority. We have plows for most of our trucks that can be loaded quickly to get us out on the roads when you need us. Currently, we offer snow removal for commercial accounts only.
